Welcome to ResignReady. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ResignReady mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using or installing the application.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibility

ResignReady is designed to help users plan their financial runway and career transitions.

  • You are entirely responsible for the financial, employment, and preference information you enter into the app.
  • Because ResignReady runs locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your device (including PIN, passwords, and biometric locks).

3. User Data and Ownership

  • You retain absolute ownership of all data you input into ResignReady, including transactions, budgets, goals, profile preferences, and employment information.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date for reliable calculations.

4. Service Operation & Local Processing

ResignReady is an offline-first, local application. The core operations are executed directly on your device, which includes:

  • Transaction, budget, and goal tracking.
  • Resignation readiness scores and financial runway calculations.
  • Employment and severance estimations (tailored for Indonesian employment scenarios).
  • Local storage via Room database and Shared Preferences.
  • On-device PDF and CSV export generation.
🔒 Privacy Core: ResignReady does not operate a cloud backend and does not require an external server to process your records or generate calculations.

5. Export and Sharing

When you choose to export or share a report, the generated file may contain sensitive financial, goal, budget, or employment-related information.

  • You are solely responsible for reviewing the exported content before sharing it.
  • You assume all risks when choosing third-party recipient apps or contacts via the Android Share Sheet.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Any future premium features, purchases, or licensing options will be handled securely through the official platform app store (e.g., Google Play Store). Unless clearly stated in a premium tier listing, ResignReady is provided primarily as an informational financial utility.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You explicitly agree not to:

  • Attempt to modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the application binary.
  • Misrepresent generated financial or severance estimates as official legal determinations or company-approved statements.
  • Interfere with the app's local database, export directory, or normal execution.
  • Use the app for any fraudulent or unlawful planning purposes.

8. Financial, Employment, and Legal Disclaimer

It does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, or employment advice.The resignation readiness score, financial runway estimate, severance calculations, and related insights are generated solely based on user-provided inputs and simplified mathematical assumptions. Actual employment rights, severance pay, tax deductions, debt obligations, and legal outcomes vary drastically depending on your specific employment contract, corporate regulations, regional jurisdictions, and current labor laws (such as the Indonesian Labor Law/UU Ketenagakerjaan).Always consult a qualified professional, financial advisor, or legal expert before making any final career resignation, termination, investment, or debt-related decisions.

9. Limitations of Liability & Data Risks

  • "As-Is" Provision: The application is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations, or universal compatibility with all Android OS versions and third-party PDF/CSV viewers.
  • Local Data Vulnerability: Because your data is not synced to a cloud, local data may be permanently lost due to device failure, clearing app storage/cache via system settings, database corruption, OS updates, or app uninstallation. We are not liable for any data loss incurred.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.
