Welcome to Persona Scan. By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease using the application immediately.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

User Input: You are solely responsible for all answers and data provided within the application.
Device Security: Because this application runs entirely offline, you are fully responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your device to prevent unauthorized access to your test results.

2. User Content and Intellectual Property

Ownership: You retain full ownership of the data and materials you enter into the application.
Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all details provided for psychometric scoring.

3. Service Operation & Local Processing

Persona Scan is a local-only application. It does not utilize cloud servers to store your history or process your assessment scores.

The following core features are executed entirely on your local device:

Questionnaire flow and calculations (Big Five, RIASEC, Enneagram, Team Role, Conflict, and Needs).
Result visualization and chart generation.
Local history database saving (under the last_result_v1 storage key).
PDF report generation and system share sheet triggering.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Platform Processing: Any future monetization, in-app purchases, or licensing will be handled strictly through the respective platform's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
Current Status: At present, the application operates free of charge for educational and informational purposes.

5. Prohibited Conduct

By using Persona Scan, you agree not to:

Attempt to modify, decompile, decrypt, or reverse engineer the application's binary or codebase.
Misuse the psychometric results for clinical diagnoses or as a sole determinant for employment, hiring, or corporate placement decisions.
Interfere with the application's integrity, secure storage keys, or local database structure.

6. Psychometric & Medical Disclaimer

⚠️ Important Disclaimer: The personality, career, and team assessment results generated by this app are intended strictly for personal development, communication profiling, coaching, and educational purposes. They do not constitute clinical psychological diagnoses and should never be used as the sole basis for hiring, medical, or life-altering career decisions. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or professional applicability of the scores.

7. Limitation of Liability & Availability

"As-Is" Provision: The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, nor do we guarantee compatibility with all devices, screen sizes, or external PDF viewers.
Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Persona Scan and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, the loss of local history data due to application corruption, device loss, factory resets, or operating system upgrades.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the application following the posting of any updates constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.
