3. Data & Cache Management

Since My Style Camera prioritizes privacy and stores your data locally, you have total control over your digital footprint:

• Clear Cached Presets: To free up space, you can clear the application cache directly through your device's system application settings.
• Delete History/Favorites: You can permanently delete your capture history records and favorite presets using the clear options inside the History and Favorites screens within the app.
• Complete Data Removal: Uninstalling the application from your device will automatically delete all local databases, history logs, and cached assets.

🔍 Are my photos uploaded to any server?

No. Your privacy is our top priority. Your photos are saved directly to your phone's native media gallery. The live camera stream and pose keypoint calculations are processed entirely offline on your device. We do not collect, view, or store your photos.

🌐 Why does the app require an internet connection?

Internet access is used solely to stream and cache reference images for advanced presets (version 1.1 and 1.2+). By streaming these assets from our Cloudflare R2 storage on-demand instead of bundling them inside the app package, we keep the initial download size exceptionally compact. Once a preset image is downloaded, it is cached locally and can be accessed offline.

📐 What is the "Pose Score" in the app?

The Pose Score is a mathematical approximation representing how closely your subject's major body joints (shoulders, elbows, hips, etc.) align with the active pose overlay guidelines. A score above 75% indicates excellent alignment, which can trigger the optional auto-shutter countdown for hands-free shooting.
