Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how users can request deletion of their data associated with the Auto Clipper service.
1. Deleting Data from the App
You can remove certain data directly from the app:
- Delete media files stored locally on your device
- Clear app data through your device settings
- Stop using the service at any time
If available, in-app options may also allow you to delete specific content such as clips, history, or gallery items.
2. Account-Linked Data Deletion
If you signed in (e.g., with Google), you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
To request deletion:
- Send an email to: nitedreamworks@gmail.com
- Use subject: "Data Deletion Request – Auto Clipper"
- Include:
- Your account email (used in the app)
- Optional: additional details to help identify your account
3. What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon verification, we will delete or anonymize:
- Account information (user ID, email, profile data)
- Subscription-related metadata (where applicable)
- Stored media, clips, transcripts, and gallery history
- Associated backend records linked to your account
4. Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained if necessary for:
- Legal obligations
- Fraud prevention and security
- Billing and transaction records (handled by Google Play)
We do not control data held by third-party services such as Google Play, Firebase, or advertising providers. You may need to manage your data directly with those services.
5. Processing Time
We aim to process deletion requests within 7–30 days, depending on the complexity of the request and verification requirements.
6. Important Notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Some residual data may remain temporarily in backups
- Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server-side data
